Exam Overview
All applicants for admission to the Master of Science program are required to sit a written entrance exam. The grades obtained in the exam, alongside other criteria, are utilized to determine candidates’ suitability for admission to the program.
Exam Objectives
The exam is designed to evaluate candidates’ knowledge of a range of fundamental concepts across various areas of mathematics. It assesses candidates’ problem-solving skills and their use of logical reasoning.
Examination Format
The written entrance exam is held once an academic year and is timed to be compatible with the admission timetable for the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies. The exam normally takes place once the candidate has met the program’s essential admission requirements. The entrance exam for the Master’s program covers basic mathematical concepts and knowledge, and these can be learned by consulting the scientific references detailed for this exam.
Evaluation
